| Praise something.
Anything.
I have a concept.
This comic will be entitled "In the future people will fall in love." But it won't say that on the front. Or the back. Only inside the comic. In fact, I think it will be the only sentence.
The verbal story board is as follows, so far.
First few panels: Establish the scene: A rusty-gothic type of futuristic city, mid-day. Two large spires extend high into the air, a blimp floats around.
Next few panels: Various shots of a couple on the edge of an abandoned aqueduct, "flirting"
Next panel: Close up of the couple's lips, millimeters away from each other.
Next few panels: A violent separation of the two by way of giant mechanical tentacles (similar in design to the spires,) pulling the guy away and keeping the girl there
Next few panels: A wire emerges from the tentacle and shoots into the back of the girls head, her eyes turning white momentarily, as the guy is entangled in wires to the point that all he can see is black. "in the future..."
Last Panels: She looks normal again, and gazes off at the two spires for a second, and then gets up and leaves like nothing ever happened. "...people won't fall in love any more." | | |

Film Forum is currently showing an old french flick by the name of Classe Tous Risque, brilliant piece of film. It's black and white about gangsters.
At Film Forum you can by coffee for the theatre.
Tomorrow marks the day of the Big Apple Comic Convention (see previous entry.)
